Pilot privacy information

Clear purpose. Limited access.

TradeCredit.ca is being designed for corporate credit workflows while recognizing that business-contact information can still be personal information.

This is a plain-language pilot notice, not the final production Privacy Notice. Canadian privacy counsel must review the complete notice, retention rules, and cross-border disclosures before real applications are accepted.

Marketing website

The public website does not require an account. If you email us about the pilot, we use the information you provide to respond, understand your organization's needs, and coordinate follow-up. We do not sell that information.

Planned product information

The production service is expected to process corporate identity and address information, authorized business contacts, supplier-specific credit requests, selected trade references, confidential reference responses, attestations, and audit records.

Purpose and sharing

Application information will be used to operate the requested commercial-credit workflow and shared with the named supplier. Confidential reference responses will be shared with that supplier, not with the applicant or unrelated organizations.

Processing locations

Planned service providers may process information in the United States. Final production disclosures will identify material service providers, processing locations, retention periods, and available access or correction pathways before real customer information is collected.

Your choices

Marketing consent will be separate and optional. Operational account and workflow messages will not be used to hide unrelated promotional consent. Privacy questions can be sent to privacy@tradecredit.ca.
